So the problem seems to be with TW and the display drivers on Computer1. However, when connecting from Computer2 to Computer1, it works. When connecting from Computer1 to Computer2, it doesn't work (as described above). I've installed and reinstalled the TW monitor drivers on both the local and the remote computer, but it doesn't even seem to ATTEMPT to black the remote screen. Since I'm trying the free version of TW before buying, there also is absolutey no help to get from the TW team. I tried enabling the "Enable black screen option in the settings on the teamviewer "server", but when I did that the client couldn't even connect - it got stuck on "Initializing display parameters" forever. and protect your devices against external threats and human error Completely integrated in. C'mon.I've been looking for a solution to this, but I cannot seem to find anyone who has solved it (or even have the exact same problem). Maybe you could do something about this finally? I 's been THREE years since it's reported and you had THREE major versions meanwhile. The downside to this is that the computer you're remote controlling, will not have the brightness slider working anymore. Without this driver, the Netflix shows just the main window and the preview of the movies but as soon as you actually start watching a movie, you get just a black screen with only the subtitles visible and the audio. More anoying is the fact that using this "install video driver" was the only way I could find to WATCH Netflix (or other protected content) via a TeamViewer session. It is just a way to bring back a functionality of the device (the brightness slider or whatever). The point is, this IS NOT a solution and not even a workaround as it does not allow the usage of certain TeamViewer functions. So.after 3 years and 3 major TeamViewer versions this issue is still present.
